Camie Heleski has lived surrounded by horses since she was a child. She grew up on a horse farm where she and her family raised and trained horses.
This led her to pursue a career in equine behaviour and welfare, and she received her M.S. in Animal Science with an emphasis in equine nutrition and exercise physiology.
In this interview, she talks about horse training, equine welfare, and the different methods for assessing their well-being.
