Northern Argentina

According to the program you choose, we will offer your non-riding companion a wide range of possibilities to experience the most iconic landscapes and places in northern Argentina:

• We will go for a walking tour around the beautiful colonial city of Salta with the rest of the riders and then, we will head to the Lerma Valley, a natural paradise with an interesting legacy of cave paintings. Here, we will take the opportunity to explore some other must-see destinations in northern Argentina while your friends spend the day riding.
• We will travel around the Quebrada de Humahuaca and see Purmamarca and the fantastic Cerro de Siete Colores. From there, we will continue to Tilcara and its Pucará, a fortress built by the ancient Inca tribes that lived there. Finally, will reach the town of Humahuaca where we can visit the cathedral and the Independence Monument.
• We will enjoy a wonderful tour of the Calchaquí Valleys. Before going deep into the heart of the valleys, will taste the exquisite high-altitude wines of Cafayate. Immersed in the ancient traditions of San Carlos, Angastaco, Molinos y Seclantás we will finally reach Cachi, a lovely, quaint village that will take us back in time.

Central Argentina

We have prepared different activities and itineraries for your non-riding companion, depending on the horse riding holiday you choose in central Argentina.

• In Cordoba, we will share our stay with the group of riders at Haras Ampascachi, a gem of colonial architecture surrounded by an unrivalled natural environment. Using the estancia as our base, we will visit the most important tourist attractions in the province of Córdoba, which mix culture and history together.
• We will tour the lcity of Cordoba, also known as "la Docta" (the Learned) because of its famous university, the oldest university of Argentina, founded by the Jesuits.
• We will visit the eJesuit estancias of La Candelaria, Caroya, Santa Catalina and Alta Gracia, a fascinating ensemble included in the World Heritage List of UNESCO.
• We will travel around the hills of Cordoba and the imposing Traslasierra Valley, where we can mingle with the locals and learn about their customs.
• On top of this, you will have plenty of time to enjoy our facilities at Haras Ampascachi. Relax by the pool, challenge your partner to a tennis match or taste the delicious dishes prepared by our chef – just to mention a few options.
