Experts in horses and the best travel companions

At Ampascachi, we like to say that we have an equestrian soul. Our love for horses transcends generations and guides everything we do.

In 1994, the Imberti family founded Haras Ampascachi. Since then, we have been breeding Peruvian Paso horses and sharing our knowledge of this particular breed with the rest of the world.

In all these years, we have realized that the horse is an animal shrouded in mystery. In our day-to-day life, we combine this personal experience with animal behaviour science to train our horses, with all the respect and love they deserve.

Thanks to our work philosophy and approach, we breed horses with a calm temperament, which makes them perfect for horseback riding.

Why equestrian tourism?

The more we learned about the qualities of horses, the greater the mark they left on us. And our desire to become their protectors grew stronger as well.

We live in a time when horses are no longer needed as working animals. Their future is uncertain.

At Ampascachi, we believe that equestrian tourism is the noblest way to ensure the survival and welfare of an animal that has been with us for centuries. For that reason, we took the initiative steps to design and organize equestrian routes in Argentina, our land.

On our journeys, horses and riders are deeply connected. They delve into ancient cultures and enjoy true nature.

Max Testimonial

MAX
United States

"My wife and I have ridden with Ampascachi on two occasions. We enjoyed the first trip so much that we returned the following year for another trip. We also made the extension trip to Buenos Aries and had a great time (I recommend it! Our guide at Buenos Aires was fantastic and we saw a lot). The first trip was in the northern area of Salta and the second was in the centre, around Cordoba."
