Horse riding holidays in Jujuy

Mild temperatures throughout the year, a new surprise at every turn of the road and amazing landscapes that can only be reached on the back of a horse. Who could resist an adventure like this?

Travelling back in time

Separated from Chile by the the Andes mountain range, this region borders Bolivia to the north and the province of Salta to the south. Its capital is San Salvador de Jujuy, better known as «La Tacita de Plata»(the Silver Cup).

On the back of a Peruvian horse, we will leave from our equestrian centre in Salta and head towards the immense Quebrada de Humahuaca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We will admire the thousand shades of the Cerro de los Siete Colores in Purmamarca and receive the warm welcome of Tilcara. In some programs, you can even mingle with the locals and celebrate with them their famous carnival or the Pachamama festival.

We will also take the opportunity to plunge into the traditions and colonial architecture of the charming villages of La Quebrada.
